Cole signs one-year tender offer from Packers

Restricted free-agent defensive tackle Colin Cole, who had the second-round tender on him, signed his one-year, $1.417 million tender with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting.

Cole played in seven games for the Packers in an injury-riddled 2007 season, in which the defensive tackle suffered a broken forearm in the Packers' win over the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. In four seasons with Green Bay, Cole has started seven games and registered three sacks.
