Chicago Bears sign safety Troy Nolan to add secondary depth

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears have signed safety Troy Nolan, adding depth at the position.

The Bears were looking for help at the spot after Chris Conte suffered a hamstring injury in last week's win against the Arizona Cardinals. They announced the move on Wednesday.

Drafted in the seventh round by the Houston Texans in 2009, Nolan has 73 tackles and three interceptions over 37 appearances and seven starts with the Texans and Miami Dolphins. He has five tackles in seven games this season with Houston and Miami.
