Harris and the Broncos have reached an agreement to adjust his salary for 2019, paying him $12.05 million, NFL Network's James Palmer reported Tuesday evening.
Mike Klis of 9News first reported the news. The team later confirmed the news, announcing it as a new one-year contract.
On the field, Harris touted a 66.4 passer rating allowed when targeted in 2018, which was fourth-best. He posted 49 tackles with three interceptions and 10 passes defensed last season, which was only 12 games for him.
With the raise, Harris gets more money and still has the option of testing the market as a free agent for the first time in his career when the 2019 season comes to its conclusion.
