Cardinals WR Boldin re-injures ankle, exits game vs. Panthers

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin left Sunday's 34-21 loss to the Carolina Panthers in the third quarter after aggravating his sprained right ankle and didn't return.

Boldin, who had been questionable for the game because of the injury, was helped from the field with 8:53 to play in the third quarter. Before he left, Boldin caught three passes to pass Larry Centers and become the Cardinals' career leader in receptions.
