Cardinals sign free-agent CB/KR Miller to one-year deal

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they have signed free-agent cornerback and kick returner Justin Miller to a one-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Miller participated in the Cardinals' minicamp last weekend on a tryout basis after briefly playing for the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets last season.

Miller was a second-round draft pick of the Jets in 2005 and played three seasons for them before being released in 2008. He made the Pro Bowl in 2006 as a kick returner, leading the NFL that season with a 28.3-yard average.

Miller has returned five kickoffs for touchdowns in his career, including a 103-yard score against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 1, 2006.

Miller joins guard Alan Faneca, safety Kerry Rhodes, kicker Jay Feely and punter Ben Graham as ex-Jets now in Arizona.
