Cardinals sign five of their free agents to one-year contracts

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Wide receiver Steve Breaston and starting center Lyle Sendlein are among five players who re-signed with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.

Breaston, Sendlein and nose tackle Gabe Watson -- all restricted free agents -- signed their one-year qualifying offers. Also, linebacker Monty Beisel signed a one-year contract, and cornerback Michael Adams signed his exclusive-rights deal.

Breaston is expected to move into the Cardinals' No. 2 receiver spot following the trade of Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens. Breaston has caught 140 passes for 1,810 yards in his three NFL seasons.

Sendlein, an undrafted free agent out of Texas in 2007, has started every game for the Cardinals the last two seasons.

Beisel played in nine regular-season games and both playoff contests last season after signing with the Cardinals following his release by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Watson and Adams played in all 16 regular-season games last season.
