Cardinals re-sign Tuman to replace injured Spach

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed tight end Jerame Tuman to replace injured Stephen Spach.

The Cardinals placed Spach on injured reserve Tuesday because of a torn ligament in his right knee. The tight end had started both playoff games and was injured during the second half of Saturday night's 33-13 victory at Carolina.

Tuman is a 10-year veteran who appeared in three games for the Cardinals before being released Dec. 24. The Cardinals have three tight ends on their roster. The other two -- Leonard Pope and Ben Patrick -- have been bothered by injuries.
