Cardinals RB Wright retires, reportedly will pursue MBA

While many of his teammates are preparing to go back to football, running back Jason Wright decided to go back to school and has retired, *The Arizona Republic* reported Monday.

Wright, 28, played seven NFL seasons -- the past two for the Cardinals -- primarily as a special teams player and situational running back. He rushed for a total of 633 yards.

Wright was admitted to the prestigious Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and he has relocated to Chicago, The Republic reported.

Wright, who missed just five games during his final five seasons, would have drawn interest in free agency, his agent, Mike McCartney, told the newspaper.

The Republic also reported that defensive lineman Bryan Robinson, 37, is healthy and considering playing another season.

"I'm going to see if it makes sense to do it," Robinson said Monday during a round of golf. "We'll see what happens."
