Teams are forbidden from discussing potential trades during the NFL lockout, but Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt didn't exactly dismiss growing speculation that Arizona will pursue a swap of cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb once a new labor deal is struck.
"Arizona would be a great place," Kolb said Tuesday on "The Dan Patrick Show," with guest host Howard Eskin. "I've obviously envisioned myself there and some other places. They all have a chance to be great, and that's the kind of team you want to go to if you're going to be traded."
"And yet (Tuesday), there was a report that (Bulger) didn't even want to come here, to Arizona," Whisenhunt said. "So which one is it? Is it, we've already worked a deal under the table or is it he does not want to come here?"
