Cam Newton dons electric pants for Super Bowl flight

The Panthers are the best dancing team in the NFL and the NFC champions might just be the most stylish bunch in the league, too.

Just before taking off in Carolina, Cam Newton made headway with his Versace Yellow Barocco Zebraprint pants. Newton's stellar play on the field, dancing and wardrobe this season have all cumulated to produce his best year in the NFL.

Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart posted a picture of Newton and himself before making the trip to California.

Newton's jeans, perhaps, have a subliminal message. NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported that the Versace legwear is known as "go to hell" pants in fashion industry, per Newton's stylist.

For everybody trying to buy a pair of the Versace Yellow Barocco Zebraprint pants, you're out of luck. The now-popular jeans are now reportedly sold out online.

Make sure to watch Super Bowl Opening Night live Monday on NFL Network at 8 p.m. ET.
