Burress might still bring plenty of game to willing team

Plaxico Burress is due to be released from prison on June 6, and the league is buzzing about his possible destination when the free-agency period commences.

While it would seem a two-year layoff and questions about Burress' age (33), character and diminishing skills would damage his prospects, the market for his services is wide open with teams looking for a receiver with big-play ability.

Over the past few months, the Jets and Eagles have been mentioned as potential suitors.

The Giants haven't ruled out a possible reunion despite his contentious relationship with the team in the past. However, one current member of the team doubts it will happen.

Although no one knows if Burress will ever regain the form he once displayed, we will certainly find out if he still has the skills to lead another team on a title run in 2011.
