Browns trade up to No. 3 in NFL draft

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - The Cleveland Browns say they have moved up from the No. 4 spot to No. 3 in the NFL draft

A team spokesman confirmed the Browns have swapped picks with the Minnesota Vikings. Cleveland also will give Minnesota a fourth-, fifth- and seventh-round pick in this year's draft.

The Browns, who had a league-high 13 picks, are expected to use the No. 3 selection on Alabama running back Trent Richardson. Cleveland had one of the league's worst offenses last season, scoring just 218 points. They are desperate for playmakers and Richardson is viewed as the most complete back in this year's draft.
