Browns LB Jackson, K Dawson doubtful to play vs. Bills

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson and kicker Phil Dawson missed practice Friday and are doubtful for this weekend's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Jackson, the team's leading tackler this season, has a hamstring injury that he sustained this week in practice. If Jackson can't play, rookie linebacker David Veikune is the most likely player to take his starting spot.

Jackson has been receiving treatment this week and said he doesn't want to rush back.

Dawson has been inactive for Cleveland's past two games with a left calf injury and hasn't been seen around the team's training facility. Billy Cundiff likely will make his third consecutive start in Dawson's place.
