Broncos lose Kuper for playoffs with dislocated ankle

Denver Broncos right guard Chris Kuper is out for the playoffs after suffering an ugly dislocated left ankle in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to The Denver Post.

The Post reported that Kuper likely will spend the whole offseason rehabilitating his ankle. He was injured early in the first quarter when rookie right tackle Orlando Franklin inadvertently fell on him from behind. He had his left leg placed in a splint and was carted off the field.

Russ Hochstein replaced him.

Kuper had been a starter since the sixth game of the 2007 season.
