Broncos hold out Young, Bailey; RB Hilllis starts

ATLANTA -- Running back Selvin Young and cornerback Champ Bailey were inactive for the Denver Broncos' game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Young and Bailey were held out with groin injuries. Young has only one carry since Oct. 5.

Young's injury left fullback Peyton Hillis as the probable starting running back for the Broncos. Denver also had running back Tatum Bell, who re-signed with the team this week, in uniform.

Cornerback Brent Grimes, who has lost his starting job to Domonique Foxworth, was inactive for the Falcons with knee and ankle injuries. Backup defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead was held out with a foot injury.

Kicker Jason Elam, who had been listed as questionable with a hip injury, was in uniform for Atlanta in his first game against his former Denver teammates.
