Brock Osweiler lands in Miami for Dolphins pre-draft visit

Brock Osweiler said he landed in Miami on Monday for a visit with the Dolphins, three days after the 6-foot-7 Arizona State quarterback reportedly worked out for the Denver Broncos.

"Just landed in Miami...excited about my visit with the Dolphins!" Osweiler announced on Twitter.

The Dolphins, who have Matt Moore and David Garrard at quarterback, own the No. 8 overall pick in this month's draft and could be looking for a young signal-caller to develop.

It's Osweiler's second pro visit in a few days after John Elway, the Broncos' executive vice president of football operations, led a group to Arizona State on Friday. Denver owns the No. 25 pick.

Osweiler has said he hasn't decided if he will attend the draft despite NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt's assertion that the quarterback's workout vaulted him into first-round consideration. Other analysts -- NFL Network's Michael Lombardi and Charley Casserly among them -- consider Osweiler a mid- to late-round talent.

"Honestly, New York would be a lot of fun, and there's some great things that would take place, and like I said, it has been a dream of mine," Osweiler recently told NFL.com. "But it's just the person I am and how I was raised that I want to be around the people that have supported me throughout this process."
