Brett Favre enjoys work as high school offensive coordinator

It's that time of year when Brett Favre rumors start cropping up. However, the former All-Pro quarterback has reason to ignore them because he has found a new way to stay involved in football this season.

USA Today reported that Favre is fitter than ever and is enjoying his role as a high school football coach in Mississippi.

Favre said he is having too much fun serving as the offensive coordinator for Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Miss. It's the same high school at which he famously worked out while waiting for his next NFL job.

Favre doesn't expect Pro Bowl play from Oak Grove's quarterbacks, but senior Kirk McCarty said Favre is a demanding coach.
