Brady, five other Pats not seen at Thursday's practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Tom Brady was among six New England Patriots players who weren't at the start of practice open to reporters on Thursday.

The quarterback, who was limited in practice last week by an injury to his left, non-throwing shoulder, was not spotted during the approximately 15-minute media period. Players spent most of that time stretching.

Brady played every offensive series for the Patriots except the last one in Sunday's 49-21 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Others not present during the media portion were wide receiver Wes Welker, running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis and offensive linemen Logan Mankins, Sebastian Vollmer and Marcus Cannon.

It was not known if any of the six practiced later because the team is not required to submit a practice participation report since it has a playoff bye this weekend.
