Bradie Ewing out for season for Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have lost Bradie Ewing for the season after the fullback tore an ACL Thursday night's 31-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN.

Falcons coach Mike Smith announced Friday that Ewing will miss the season.

Atlanta's fifth-round pick in this year's draft was competing for the starting fullback position after the team cut Ovie Mughelli. Mike Cox is the likely beneficiary of Ewing's bad luck.
