St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will likely be a game-time decision against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday after being very limited by an ankle injury during Friday's practice, according to the team.
Rams coach Steve Spagnuolosaid Bradford's status was similar to Thursday, when he suffered a bit of a setback with the injury and sat out of practice. Bradford aggravated a high left ankle sprain in last week's loss to the Seahawks.
"He didn't do much at all," Spagnuolo said. "He's still a little sore, so we'll see where we're at tomorrow."
Spagnuolo had previously indicated a decision would be made Friday on Bradford's status.
The Rams did add quarterback Tom Brandstater to the practice squad as insurance. A.J. Feeley, who started two games earlier this season when Bradford was sidelined by a high left ankle sprain, took the first-team reps on Thursday.
"It helps when you get reps in practice," Feeley said. "But I fully anticipate Sam being ready to go."
Defensive end Chris Long (ankle), defensive tackle Justin Bannan (shoulder) and safety Darian Stewart (head) are also questionable. Long missed practice for the second straight day Friday but had said it was "100 percent" he would play against the 49ers but will likely also be a game-time call. Stewart will test again to be cleared for contact on Saturday, according to the team.
The 49ers listed wide receiver Braylon Edwards (knee) as doubtful.
