Bills' Wilson likely out Sunday; Kicker Lindell won't play

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills safety George Wilson missed his second straight practice Thursday due to a neck injury, leaving him unlikely to play against Tennessee on Sunday.

Wilson has already missed two games, and coach Chan Gailey says he's getting "less optimistic" about the starter's status against the Titans. Gailey also said kicker Rian Lindell will not play Sunday in order to get an additional week of rest to allow his right shoulder injury to heel.

Lindell broke a bone in his shoulder making a tackle in a 27-11 loss to the New York Jets on Nov. 6.

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin returned to practice Thursday after hurting his ribs in a 28-24 loss to the Jets last weekend. Gailey is optimistic McKelvin will play as the Bills (5-6) attempt to snap a four-game skid.
