Bills' Fred Jackson inspired to see Lauren Hill's game in Cincinnati

By now you've probably heard of Lauren Hill, the gutsy freshman basketball player from Mount St. Joseph University. She is suffering from inoperable brain cancer and her only goal was to play at least one game for her college.

Hill got her dying wish last Sunday as the NCAA allowed Mount St. Joseph to play its season-opener against Hiram College two weeks earlier than other colleges. More than 10,000 fans attended Mount St. Joseph's victory Cincinnati's Cintas Center to see Hill score the first and last baskets of the game, according to CNN.

Among those in attendance was Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson, whose Bills were on their bye week. Jackson told BuffaloBills.com that it was important for him and his son to be there to support Hill and her cause.

Jackson said he took his son Braeden to show him the importance of sports and how they can make a difference.
