Bengals waive two injured tight ends

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals waived injured first-year tight ends Bobby Blizzard and Sean Mulcahy on Friday.

Blizzard, from North Carolina, has been out with a back injury, and Mulcahy, from Connecticut, has a neck injury. The Bengals said if they are not claimed, they will go on Cincinnati's injured reserve list to continue rehabilitation.

Blizzard played for the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe, and has been on the practice squads of Baltimore and Arizona. Mulcahy has been in training camps with St. Louis, Atlanta and Carolina, but never appeared in an NFL game.
