Bengals take Iowa CB Prater with 5th-round pick

CINCINNATI (AP) - The Bengals took another cornerback with the first of their three picks in the fifth round on Saturday, getting Shaun Prater from Iowa.

They opened the draft by taking cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick from Alabama with the 17th overall pick.

Prater is Cincinnati's sixth player overall in the draft. Cornerback was a key area for the Bengals to upgrade in the draft, with Leon Hall coming back from a torn Achilles tendon.
