Bengals take Clemson DT Brandon Thompson

CINCINNATI (AP) - The Bengals took defensive tackle Brandon Thompson from Clemson with their other pick in the third round of the draft.

Cincinnati tried to beef up its defensive line rotation on Friday. The Bengals also chose defensive tackle Devon Still in the second round, giving them two players who can develop into regular contributors.

With its first pick in the third round, Cincinnati took receiver Mohamed Sanu from Rutgers. It was an appropriate pick - someone played a prank on Sanu during the first round on Thursday night, calling his phone and pretending to be with the Bengals.

They didn't pick him then, but took him a day later.
