Bengals given extension to sell tickets; Raiders, Jaguars blacked out

The Cincinnati Bengals received a one-day extension to sell out Sunday's game against the Houston Texans and avoid a local television blackout.

More than 3,000 tickets remained for the game as of Thursday afternoon. The NFL gave the Bengals until 1 p.m. ET Friday to sell those tickets.

The Bengals, who are 4-1 this season, have sold out their last 46 games at Paul Brown Stadium. The last game that was blacked out locally came against the Texans on Nov. 9, 2003.

The Bengals also received a 24-hour extension before the season opener against the Denver Broncos and managed to sell out in time to have the game shown on local TV.

Two other teams will have their home games blacked out in local TV markets. The Oakland Raiders couldn't sell out their game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Jacksonville Jaguars failed to sell out their contest against the St. Louis Rams.

The Raiders have two blackouts in three home games this season. All three Jaguars home games have been blacked out.
