A Bengals home game will be blacked out on local television for the fourth consecutive time this season after Sunday's contest against the San Diego Chargers didn't sell out by the NFL-mandated deadline, *The Cincinnati Enquirer* reported Friday.
The Bengals averaged 64,191 in attendance through the first four home games against the Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers. Average attendance dipped to 57,320 in their next three games against the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns.
"It's definitely been quieter," Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer told the newspaper. "But you still get the goose bumps, you still get fired up, you still get excited to play at your home stadium, but we haven't had the advantages we've had in the past."
