Bears TE Manumaleuna reportedly will have right knee scoped

Bears tight end Brandon Manumaleuna will have his right knee scoped soon, the *Chicago Tribune* reported Thursday, citing a source.

The 6-foot-2, 295-pound Manumaleuna, who primarily serves as a blocker for the Bears, had five receptions and one touchdown this past season.

The surgery is being done to clean out the joint -- a minor procedure, according to the newspaper.
