Bears signing Massey after losing long snapper for season

The Chicago Bears are signing long snapper Chris Massey, according to a league source.

The Bears placed longtime starter Pat Mannelly on injured reserve Monday. Mannelly tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
