Bears fullback Ta'ufo'ou suffers a sprained MCL

Chicago Bears fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou suffered a sprained right medial collateral ligament in Saturday night's 14-9 preseason loss to the Arizona Cardinals, according to the *Chicago Tribune*.

Ta'ufo'ou was injured while blocking on a third-quarter running play, when Arizona defensive end Kenny Iwebema and Bears running back Kahlil Bell rolled up on Ta'ufo'ou from behind.

Ta'ufo'ou left the game and wore a brace on his right leg as he left Solider Field following game.

The injury strikes a considerable blow to Ta'ufo'ou's chance of making the Bears' 53-man roster.

Ta'ufo'ou, an undrafted free agent from Cal, spent last season on the Bears' practice squad.
