Anderson returns to Bengals practice, could play in opener

For the first time since last season, BengalsPro Bowl OT Willie Anderson was back at practice Wednesday after battling a foot injury throughout the offseason.

Anderson, a 12-year veteran, passed his physical earlier in the day and then took part in his first drills of camp.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has indicated that Anderson will be ready for the regular-season opener against the Ravens and he hopes to get Anderson some snaps on Friday night when the Bengals host the Colts.

Anderson, who has gone to four-straight Pro Bowls, has a streak of 112 consecutive starts.
