What is Player's Choice?
For five straight offseasons, NFL Network has deployed its coveted "Player's Choice" program, whereby current and former NFL players are given the opportunity to curate NFL Network's television programming for a day. In the league's sixth installment of this program, several notable names have joined the initiative.
Arik Armstead started off the series last week, and now it's three-time Super Bowl champion LeGarrette Blount's turn. Blount's "Player's Choice" program will air on May 27 starting at 1 p.m. ET on NFL Network. It is also available to stream on NFL+.
What to expect from LeGarrette Blount's 'Player's Choice' program:
As the name suggests, the player chooses what to air on NFL Network for the day. Blount's segment will include several "A Football Life" tributes to some of his favorite players, including Barry Sanders and Walter Payton as well as performance highlights from some of his favorite games and a replay of his favorite Super Bowl win.
In reminiscing on the powerhouse teams that he played for in his career, he said the 2016 Patriots team stuck out the most: "There was no game we went into where we thought there was a chance that we would even lose." A year later, Blount would beat that same Patriots team in Super Bowl LII as a member of the Eagles, a feat Blount called his favorite of his three Super Bowl wins.
Sign up for NFL+ before May 27 to get access to NFL Network's Player's Choice series and learn more about some of your favorite players.
