2025 NFL Berlin Game Accessibility Guide

The NFL is committed to ensuring all fans, including those with disabilities or additional support needs, have an inclusive and enjoyable experience at Olympiastadion. This guide provides information on accessibility for the 2025 NFL Berlin Game.

Please review carefully, as event-day procedures may differ from standard Olympiastadion accessibility information.

Travel

Air Travel:

Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) provides a range of accessibility services to assist travelers.

Register with your airline or travel agent at least 48 hours before departure to ensure support is available.

At the Airport, assistance can be requested at any call box, check-in desk, or service desk. The Sunflower Lanyard is recognized for travelers with hidden disabilities.

Service dogs are welcome; confirm international travel requirements with your airline.

Public Transport:

A range of accessibility services and support are provided to make your journey barrier-free. The Berlin Transportation Company (BVG) link for the U-Bahn (underground) and the S-Bahn (rail) link provide information on their websites about the accessibility of the individual stations equipped with elevators, and means of transportation.

Taxi Services:

Wheelchair-accessible taxis are widely available through the major taxi companies via the FREENOW app and the rideshare Uber app. The Visit Berlin website offers more information for mobility in the city.

Getting Here on Game Day

Public Transport Access:

The stadium is accessed by

  • S-Bahn Berlin rail (S3 and S9) to S Olympiastadion. At the S-Bahn stop, an elevator is located at the exit marked 'Flatowallee'. The Flatowallee exit is your barrier-free access.

Distance to Accessible Fan Entry is 230 m, under 5 minutes or approx. 300 steps to the accessible fan entry.

  • U-Bahn underground stadium U Olympia-Stadion is fully accessible by wheelchair.

Distance to Accessible Fan Entry is 300 m, 5 minutes or approx. 400 steps to the accessible fan entry. Use caution, this route has a slope incline and may require additional assistance for wheelchairs or mobility devices.

Please check the respective websites to ensure no elevator outage and barrier-free access for any public transit station.

Barrier-Free Parking:

This parking is exclusively for fans with valid Disabled Person's Parking Permit (Blue Parking Permit) in the P05 location, near the south fan entry. All requests must be submitted in advance of the game and are verified with your valid accessible seat ticket. Information is communicated to the ticket holder email account. If you meet these requirements, you may contact GermanyTickets@nfl.com to inquire about access for barrier-free parking.

No general fan parking is available due to security perimeters.

Taxi:

If you are arriving by wheelchair taxi, the dedicated P05 location is available for drop off and pick up near the barrier-free south fan entry. Only taxis properly marked for wheelchair and disability services will be permitted to access this location in P05.

Taxi ranks, for those without wheelchairs, are located near both the south and east fan entry locations.

NFL Clear Bag Policy

Consistent with all NFL games, the NFL strongly encourages fans not to bring any type of bag to the arena, but if necessary, clear bags outlined in the policy are permissible.

Fans who need to bring medically necessary items (such as supplies, equipment, medications, or physician-recommended food items) may do so, provided they are presented at stadium entrances for security screening. Medication should be in its original container, properly labeled, or accompanied by documentation from a healthcare provider. If you require any assistance or accommodation during screening, please notify security staff. Please note the stadium is not an allergen-controlled environment. Fans remain responsible for managing their own medical needs while attending the game.

Game Day Ticketing

Accessible Seating:

Wheelchair and ambulant accessible seats, with companion seating, are available throughout the stadium. If you have questions about your barrier free seat tickets prior to gameday, please contact GermanyTickets@nfl.com.

Service animal accommodations are available, please reach out to GermanyTickets@nfl.com if needed and arrangements have not been made.

Event Day Relocations:

Guests who have a valid ticket but cannot access their assigned seat may request relocation through any security steward or accessibility team member. You may also request this directly from the Fan Information Booth, located in the southeast near the east entry.

Please note that such exchanges and relocations are extremely limited, subject to availability, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stadium Facilities

Barrier-Free Fan Entrances:

There are two main fan entries, both with dedicated barrier-free lanes at the security check and the ticket scan for persons in wheelchairs or with medically necessary items.

The accessible lanes are identified with signs and members of the accessibility team are available to assist you if needed.

NFL Shop:

Located in the Northwest fan area, the NFL Shop has a barrier-free managed queue access and staff available to assist with purchases.

Stadium Barrier-Free Locations:

Barrier-free access to seating areas, accessible and family toilets and food and beverage concessions with lowered counters are on the lower corridor (level 0) at the corners of the stadium.

  • Northeast between 33 and 34
  • Southeast between 41 and 1
  • Southwest between 14 and 15
  • Northeast between 20 and 21

Wheelchair and ambulant spaces are in the inner corridor blocks, Premium and VIP areas. Lifts are available and can be accessed with the appropriate ticket for your seating section.

Sensory Room:

Located on the south side of the stadium level +1 near elevator 99 and vomitories 6 is the Sensory Room. This space provides a calming room with sensory equipment for fans with autism or sensory disabilities. Trained staff will be available to assist. Please see the Fan Information booth or a member of the accessibility team to request access.

Food and Beverage:

Stadium concession kiosks feature lowered counters for wheelchair access. Food trucks have staff available to assist with purchases—please ask each vendor for their process. The NFL Game is a fully cashless event.

The Olympiastadion Berlin **map** shows you locations of the wheelchair access points, barrier-free toilets and food and beverage kiosks.

Assistive Services

The NFL Accessibility Team (identified in orange bibs) are available at many locations around the stadium campus. They are a team of specially trained teammates and are happy to assist any of our fans with accessibility needs on game day. They are positioned at the fan entries, fan information booth as well are near the accessible seating areas. Any of our stadium stewards can call the team if special assistance is required.

Audio Descriptive Commentary (ADC):

The NFL is partnered with DKB to provide ADC. There is no cost for this service and must be requested from the Fan Information Booth located in the Southeast fan area.

Awareness Team:

Specially trained members of the Workers' Samaritan Association (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund) are available to help anyone who feels uncomfortable, discriminated against, or unsafe. You can find their tent near the fan information booth by the east entry, and at all first aid stations. Flyers are posted around the stadium with more information. If you need support or want to raise a concern, please speak to a member of this team.

Fan Information Booth:

Located in the Southeast fan area. General fan information, maps, accessibility team, awareness team, ADC rental, seating questions, wheelchair assistance requests and general information is available.

Mobility Assistance:

Wheelchair assistance is available from the Fan Entries or the Fan Information Booth and after the game from the barrier-free access and seating areas. Wheelchairs may not be rented; the courtesy service is available to help you from one location to another if you are in need of mobility assistance.

Sensory Services:

In addition to the Sensory Room, Sensory Kits (ear defenders, fidget tools) are available to you and can be picked up from Fan Information Booth, within Gameday Experience, or the Sensory Room. There is no cost.

Sign Language:

American and German Sign Language interpreters will be available for pre-game anthems.

On-Site Game Day Support: Accessibility team in orange vests will assist with seating, lifts, and general accessibility needs. Please ask any security, steward or teammate if assistance is needed and the accessibility team will be requested.
