Steve Weissman joined NFL Network in 2015 and works as a news anchor on NFL Now. Weissman can also be seen on Tennis Channel, hosting and performing play-by-play for the French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open, Australian Open and other events throughout the year. He was a play-by-play tennis commentator for NBC during the 2016 Summer Olympics. Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, Weissman worked for 5 years at ESPN, hosting Sportscenter, NFL Live, NFL 32 and Outside the Lines among other shows. From 2006-2009, he covered the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers as the lead anchor for CSN California. Weissman also worked in Saginaw, MI, Madison, WI and Alpena, MI. He won multiple awards including Best Sportscast, Best Sports Reporting and Best Mini-Documentary/Series. A native of Silver Spring, MD, Weissman is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Go Cats!
