Excellence on the Field
Five-time Pro Bowler (2019-20, 2022-24), AP Offensive Player of the Year (2020), AP first-team All-Pro (2020), and two-time AP second team All Pro (2019-2024), Henry stands out as the NFL's active leader in rushing yards (12,052) and rushing TD's (112). This season, Henry became the eighth player in NFL history to reach at least 12,000 career rushing yards and 100 career rushing TDs. Additionally, this season in what was a humbling moment for Henry, he passed the legendary Walter Payton for fifth on the NFL's all-time rushing TD's list. "I'm always going to give homage and pay homage to the ones that came before me. It's such a cool thing. I've been blessed with the teammates and coaches I've had throughout the years to reach that milestone, but there's still more to do, and I'm looking forward to being better," said Henry after the special moment.
Among the 42 players in NFL history with at least 2,000 attempts, Henry's 4.9 yards per carry rank third all time, trailing only Hall of Famers Jim Brown (5.2 ypc) and Barry Sanders (5.0 ypc). Henry has also produced at least 5 rushing TDs in each of his first 10 seasons (2016-25), becoming the third player in NFL history to accomplish this feat. Henry has 50 career regular season and four postseason 100-yard rushing performances, both of which are the most among active players. He is tied for the most 200-yard rushing performances (6) in NFL history, and his 13 games with at least 150 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs tie Hall of Famer Jim Brown for the most in NFL history. In his first season with the Ravens in 2024, Henry set the single-season franchise record in both total (18) and rushing TD's (16), while also registering 1,921 rushing yards, good for the 11th-most in NFL single-season history. Henry's 1,921 yards on the ground are the second-most by a player in his first year with a franchise, trailing only Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (2,005 in 2024). Henry also became the first player in league history to post multiple seasons (also in 2020) of at least 1,900 rushing yards.
Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year
Since joining the Ravens in 2024, Henry's impact has certainly been felt both on and off the football field. As he began learning about the struggles that many Baltimore City students face, Henry partnered with the United Way of Central Maryland to host a back-to-school event at Curtis Bay Elementary and provide 200 students with backpacks and essential supplies. Eager to do more, Henry donated winter coats and hats to all 465 students at the school. Henry returned to Curtis Bay Elementary in August 2025 to host an additional back-to-school event serving 200 students in need. To support Baltimore families during the holidays, Henry purchased 200 turkeys and sides to be distributed to underserved Baltimore families in November 2024. He plans to orchestrate this donation in Baltimore again for Thanksgiving 2025. He also plans to distribute 200 turkeys at his Two All Foundation turkey drive in his hometown of Yulee, FL at the end of November 2025. In December 2024, Henry joined fellow teammates at a local Target store to take underserved fourth grade students on a shopping spree for the holidays. He also donated gifts to families in need at both Curtis Bay Elementary School and around the Baltimore area for Christmas alongside the United Way of Central Maryland.
Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past
Since entering the NFL in 2016, Derrick Henry has consistently served not only his hometown community of Yulee, FL, but he has also stepped up to support every city he's played in. Since 2018, Henry has annually hosted a back-to-school event in Yulee, where he's donated school supplies, backpacks and bicycles to 200 students. Each December, Henry and his family host an annual holiday giveaway where they distribute hundreds of toys to the first 500 children in attendance. In June 2024, Henry hosted his first Two All Carnival in Yulee, FL, that included rides, sports and giveaways for approximately 200 local youth. In addition to these annual events in Florida, Henry consistently supports youth all over the country. A two-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee with the Tennessee Titans, Henry was a visible pillar in the community of Nashville. Henry hosted multiple back-to-school events, served students at the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee, donated Nike shoes, game-worn gear, tickets, gift cards, and more to residents across the state. He also has given time and resources to "Pay Away the Layaway," paying off more than $10,000 in layaways over Christmas to 20 deserving families. In 2022, Henry sought to increase his impact on students by donating $22,500 to H.O.P.E. and Blessings in a Backpack. His donation to H.O.P.E. helps provide a safe environment that empowers inner city children to step into their greatest potential. His donation to Blessings provides hunger-free weekends for 100 children all school year at Schwab Elementary in Nashville, where 95% of students qualify for free/reduced lunch. Disaster relief continues to motivate Henry to support those impacted by unforeseen devastating events, both locally and globally. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Henry swiftly began donating to organizations flooded by needs of food-insecure children. He provided nearly $100K to nonprofits tackling hunger. Additionally, Henry donated $10,000 to the Red Cross and $20,000 to Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) following devasting hurricanes that ravished Haiti. When Nashville firefighter Jeremy Taylor and his family tragically lost their home and belongings in March 2021, Henry immediately offered support, donating $10,000 to help start their rebuilding process. Additionally, after a family in Nashville was displaced by a deadly tornado, Henry paid the family's rent for an entire year and teamed up with Ashley Furniture to donate $12,000 in furniture.
Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back
Immediately upon meeting Henry, it becomes apparent that he gravitates towards helping others. While working to maintain his on-field success, Henry also felt compelled to increase his presence in the community. His Two All Foundation is dedicated to being a resource that impacts communities and equips young people to reach their full potential by instilling strong core values in their lives and providing support to communities in need and disadvantaged youth and their families. When he learned the football team of his former high school was struggling, he stepped in. The kids struggled with feeling unity as the school could not provide matching gear, so he donated tracksuits for players and coaches, totaling $10k in financial impact. The father of two daughters, Henry, has also stepped up to support girls in marginalized communities. In the fall of 2022, the Two All Foundation partnered with Bridgestone to inspire and empower hundreds of middle school girls to become leaders in STEM. Through Henry's initiative, girls from underserved communities have increased access to STEM education and mentorship through a program designed to spark and maintain their interest from middle school into the workforce. Undoubtedly, the commitment he routinely makes to serving others –– his family, his communities and his teammates –– is truly remarkable and inspiring.
