Excellence on the Field:
Williams has displayed excellence on the field since entering the league in 2022. After facing injuries his rookie year, he made an immediate impact in the 2023 season, scoring two touchdowns in Week 1 and another in Week 2, becoming the first player in Rams history with multiple touchdowns in each of his first two games. He finished his sophomore year with 15 touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl selection and a Second-Team All-Pro nod. Since taking over as a full-time starter in 2023, his 32 scrimmage touchdowns are the most in the NFL. Williams has passed Steven Jackson (2,651) and Marshall Faulk (2,679) for rushing yards through a player's first 40 games in Rams franchise history. Last season he finished with 14 rushing touchdowns and 16 total touchdowns ranked seventh in rushing yards (1,299) and tying for fifth in rushing touchdowns (12). So far in the 2025 season, Williams has 107 rushing attempts for 472 yards, 20 catches, and five touchdowns from scrimmage.
Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year:
Throughout this year, Williams has shown up when Los Angeles needed it the most. Following the devastating January wildfires, Williams attended an event at LAFD Air Operations to honor first responders, taking time to talk with and get to know many in attendance. He also joined forces with division rival Seattle Seahawks to distribute new Nike shoes to youth, who lost their homes in the Eaton Fire, at the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena. The event, showcasing that football is family, brought the two teams' mascots together and Williams joined Seahawks Legends to benefit the community. Williams recently visited youth from the Palisades at their local recreation center and helped lead their first football activity since the fires broke out. After the clinic, he signed autographs and took photos for everyone in attendance, bringing a sense of joy that had been missing for many since the January fire. In addition, he donated his 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nomination money in full to the LAFD Foundation to aid in relief.
Throughout the 2025 season, Williams has committed himself to spend time each week on his day off being present in the community. Upcoming and completed events include literacy sessions, military recognition events, holiday distributions, helping the team launch their STEAM education program in under-resourced schools, and more. Williams has begun the application and interview process of becoming a 'Big Brother' with nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters, an opportunity he was eager to apply for when he heard the organization was looking for men of color to be mentors. Williams also returned for the second consecutive year as a host of the annual Rams Night for Wishes, which raises critical funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Williams is consistently one of the team's biggest Make-A-Wish supporters, always willing to grant wishes for children and spend time with them and their families. When the team visited the Hawaiian island of Maui for OTAs, Williams participated in a youth football clinic for local boy's tackle and girls flag football athletes. Williams ran drills with attendees and competed in competitions with girl's flag athletes, gifting some of them items for competing so well on the field. Williams has demonstrated that his dedication to service has no limits. No matter what the event, Williams brings attentiveness to youth, veterans, and community partners alike, giving them the chance to connect with him beyond the player they see on the field.
Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past
Williams has a long-standing history of being active in the community dating back to his college days at Notre Dame and since being drafted by the Rams in 2022, Williams has immersed himself in the community of Los Angeles. In 2024, Williams served as the captain for United Way of Greater Los Angeles' WalkUnitedLA in May, where he helped to rally 7,500 Angelenos in raising over $1 million to power the fight to break cycles of poverty and build communities of prosperity in Los Angeles. Also in May, Williams joined Rams partner, PacSun, local nonprofit, ThinkWatts Foundation and the Los Angeles Unified School District to combat chronic absenteeism by kicking off the gifting of washer and dryer machines to 20 schools to ensure every child has clean clothes to wear to school. At 2024 Training Camp, Williams met with members of the LA Rams Wheelchair Football Team to announce the gifting of custom wheelchairs, helmets, and jerseys for the team's upcoming seasons. Also at Training Camp, Williams joined members of Arsenal FC and led youth through a "Football Meets Football" soccer and football clinic. Leading into the Rams' season opener, Williams visited Nickerson Gardens, the largest housing development west of the Mississippi, and helped to unveil a new Rams-branded turf football field for the community of Watts. As part of the celebration, Williams participated in a youth football clinic and pick-up games with the kids. In October, Williams served as an event captain for "LA Rams Night for Wishes." Williams attended the team's sustainability recycling combine where he worked alongside Rams and Ball Corporation staff to educate the next generation on the benefits of recycling. Williams also visited the Covenant House, a nonprofit committed to opening doors to young people experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking, for their Thanksgiving meal. Williams has consistently participated in the Rams' campaigns around Salute to Service and their annual Season of Giving efforts that help to address food insecurity, provide gifts to those in need and uplift the Los Angeles community during the holiday season. Williams served as a captain of the Holidays for Heroes military appreciation campaign in 2023 visiting a local school to assist elementary students in writing personalized holiday cards of appreciation for active-duty military members and veterans. Additionally, Williams has participated in the team's annual "Ramsgiving" with the Watts Rams and North East Lincoln Rams youth football teams. Williams has also supported the Los Angeles Unified School District with several initiatives, Inglewood Unified School District, Compton Unified School District and Conejo Valley Unified School District. He has gone beyond traditional youth football efforts and into a youth correctional facility to help inspire young people through character chats and a flag football game.
Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back:
Growing up in St. Louis, Williams was born and raised a Rams fan and found his inspiration not only on the field, but also off-the-field through meeting one of his heroes and Rams Legend, Steven Jackson. At a young age Williams had the chance to meet Jackson in person at a St. Louis Rams charity event. Through this and the motivation of his family's commitment to giving back to the community he grew up in, Williams' dreams of excelling in the NFL, but also in the community, were sparked. Consistently at community events, Williams states that he is proud and happy just to be there and is honored to be in a position where he can encourage the youth to aspire to their wildest dreams. Williams frequently mentions that being present and being seen in the community is necessary for someone who is in his role as an NFL player. This season, coming off a tough divisional match-up loss, Williams was adamant about keeping his meeting with the Rams Executive Vice President of Community Impact and Engagement so they could finalize the plan for his community involvement for the year, which includes weekly activations to support Los Angeles schools and non-profits. Williams consistently stated that the community is also a support system for him as he navigates the mental, emotional, and physical challenges of being a professional athlete. No matter the in-season pressure and expectations, his presence is consistently seen as he encourages all he interacts with to be their best every day. Williams continues to display eagerness in continuing to learn from those that came before him and other professionals around him. The same energy that is synonymous with William's rushing touchdowns, is present when he sees the smiles on a child's face or the embrace from a community partner.
