Excellence on the Field

Moore is widely regarded as one of the NFL's best slot cornerbacks, owing to his consistent, impactful play against both the run and the pass since making his NFL debut with the Colts in 2017. Moore recorded his third career pick-six in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans and has multiple sacks and pass-breakups this season, and he consistently ranks among Pro Football Focus' highest-graded run defending cornerbacks. As the NFL has shifted to defenses prioritizing two-high safety shells with nickel personnel, having a slot cornerback who defends the run as well as Moore has been massive for the Colts' defense. He's one of three active NFL players with at least 600 tackles, 20 interceptions and 10 sacks; he's the first pure cornerback to hit those do-it-all benchmarks since Hall of Famer Ronde Barber. Moore is one of six active players with at least five defensive touchdowns. Beyond Moore's playmaking streak, he's a four-time team captain and is an adept communicator, keeping his teammates on the same page on and off the field. As a former undrafted free agent, Moore's play is a testament to how success comes from hard work, grittiness and physicality.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year

In October, Moore participated in an event at Lucas Oil Stadium with kids who were receiving or have received care at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, interacting with several kids while helping them create letterman jackets as part of a "homecoming" theme. One of those kids came to Moore with an idea for how he could celebrate a big play in a game. It was a hand-washing celebration, and Moore promised he'd use it. Less than a week later, Moore recorded a sack against the Tennessee Titans, ran a few yards upfield, and hit the celebration that kid taught him during the event. Authentic connections and moments like that are at the core of Moore's community efforts, which have been significant and impactful in 2025. Moore in 2025 continued his partnership with Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis, in which he visits the school weekly to mentor students. Through those visits, Moore continues to form meaningful relationships with students, encouraging and inspiring them to grow and do what it takes to reach their goals. Moore also hosts Cardinal Ritter students at Colts home games through a ticket block and has special meet and greets with them prior to games at Lucas Oil Stadium. Moore is a heavily involved board member of A Kid Again, which continues his longstanding passion for providing joy and normal childhood experiences to kids battling serious illnesses. He attended a board meeting this year to further those efforts. Moore also attended an event in October for Kids' Voice of Indiana, an Indiana nonprofit that assists children in the legal system and promotes better outcomes for them and their families. Moore also spoke at the Indiana Principal's Convention and, earlier this year, he helped surprise Indiana's High School Man of the Year with his honor. In his hometown of Valdosta, Moore again hosted his annual youth football camp, engaging with kids, teaching them about football and showing how far hard work can take someone. Moore expanded his reach internationally this year by hosting football camps this spring in Germany, where the Colts hosted a game in Berlin later in November.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past

Moore's passion for providing support, resources and happiness to underserved children led him to establish his Love One Foundation in 2022, with his efforts targeted in his hometown of Valdosta, Ga. and his adopted hometown of Indianapolis. When Valdosta was devastated by Hurricane Helene last year, Moore's Love One Foundation partnered with a local restauranteur to provide roughly 13,000 free meals to residents and first responders shortly after the storm hit. In 2023, Moore donated $10,000 to provide meals to Valdosta residents in the wake of Hurricane Idalia. Moore and his Love One Foundation have also held annual free youth football camps in Valdosta, attended by several of his Colt's teammates, as well as a celebrity softball fundraising game. Moore also donated $12,500 to Reach Georgia in 2019. In Indianapolis, Moore is a pillar in community efforts. He's a fixture of the Colts' "Community Tuesday" events across the city, giving back on his only day off during the season, and has hosted several children battling serious illnesses on gamedays. Moore also hosted a "Hoops for Kids" event to support A Kid Again, and he celebrated single moms in a special Mother's Day celebration event in 2024. In 2023, the Love One Foundation created the Kenny Moore Birthday Club, which offers foster kids, who aren't always afforded an opportunity to celebrate their birthdays, a gift and a cake on their birthday. Moore's foundation has also worked with Firefly to donate coats and shoes to foster kids. Moore and his foundation work closely with several Indianapolis-based organizations, including A Kid Again, which provides children battling pediatric cancer free, consistent opportunities to experience the joy of being a kid amidst their ongoing treatment. Moore has served on the board of A Kid Again since 2020 and supports the Mighty Mason Fund for Palliative Care. In 2020, Moore raised $20,000 for the fund through a gaming tournament. In 2018, Moore met "Mighty" Mason Garvey, a seven-year-old battling Stage 4 Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. He developed a deep friendship with Mason, visiting him over 40 times at the hospital. Moore spent extensive time with Mason and his family and in 2019, Moore took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium with Mason before a Colts game. The image of Moore and Mason running on the field together is incredibly powerful because of the authenticity of Moore and Mason's relationship.

Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back

The most important aspect of Moore's community efforts is not how much money he provides to those who need it, or how much time he spends impacting the lives of those around him. Instead, it's how authentic these efforts are to who Moore is as a person. Where Moore focuses his energy is targeted and intentional, whether it's in supporting children battling cancer, single mothers, Valdosta residents, foster kids or impressionable high schoolers. Moore has a distinct connection to those groups and understands on a deep level what their needs are, and how to support them. For any teammate, or person, looking to give back, how Moore is going about his various community efforts of a shining example for anyone to emulate. Those around Moore know he'd be doing these things, donating his money, time and energy, within the communities he calls home whether he was an NFL player or not. But Moore, too, understands the platform he has as a Pro Bowl NFL player. He's constantly worked to uplift others as he's climbed in stature and success over the last eight years, and the work he's done through live Love One Foundation is a testament to those efforts. When he's out and about in the community, Moore approachable and friendly; he wants to get to know people on a deeper level than just through platitudes. His personality allows him to deeply connect with anyone, including those groups of people he supports through community efforts. The Colts' mission statement is to entertain, unite and inspire by winning the right way, and few players who've come through Indianapolis in the last 41 years embody those core beliefs more than Moore, who now has been the Colts' Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee three times.
