Excellence on the Field

WR DJ Moore ranks among the team leaders with his 30 receptions for 403 yards (13.4 avg.) and one receiving touchdown this season, while also adding one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown. Among players who have entered the league since 2018, Moore's 7,934 receiving yards are second-most by any player in the NFL, and his four seasons of at least 1,100 receiving yards since 2018 are tied for the most by any player in the league. Moore added a passing TD in Chicago's Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, becoming the first Bears WR to throw a touchdown pass and rush for a touchdown since 1960.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year

Moore and his wife, Raven, attended the Bears Care Gala for the third straight year in May 2025, and he also supported the club's Real Bears Fans Wear Pink campaign during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. He recorded a welcome video for a luncheon attended by breast cancer survivors where Bears Care awarded more than $120,000 in grants to organizations that support breast cancer research and treatment programs in Chicago. The Moore 2 Life Foundation has continued to be active in the Chicago area and added several events this year. DJ hosted a Back to School Bash at the McCartin Boys & Girls Club in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, where the Foundation distributed 200 backpacks and supplies to students, hosted a pizza party, and led the kids in STEM activities with the Moore family. The Foundation hosted a back-to-school shopping spree for 20 kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County at JC Penney in August, and DJ supported a food and supply drive to help those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica with a monetary donation of $2,500. DJ's father is Jamaican, and he is very proud of his heritage. He wears the Jamaican flag on his helmet as part of the NFL's Heritage Program. The Moore 2 Life Foundation is also hosting a catered Thanksgiving meal for 150 youth and families at One Family Illinois on November 18, and 10 children will be treated to a $250 holiday shopping spree on December 9.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past

Since being drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft out of the University of Maryland in 2018, Moore has been committed to giving back to his hometown of Philadelphia, as well as the NFL cities where he plays. He established the Moore 2 Life Foundation in 2019 to provide inner-city youth with educational resources and recreational initiatives to enhance their quality of life. As a member of the Carolina Panthers, Moore and the Moore 2 Life Foundation supported the Stand Strong Campaign, where he visited a victim of gun violence to lift spirits and provide hope. The Foundation also hosted the annual DJ Moore Holiday Shopping Bash, which provided 25 at-risk youth with a shopping spree and provided food security and new backpacks to all students at Hawthorne Elementary School. Additionally, they provided meals and support to feed all those in the critical care unit on the front line of COVID-19 pandemic at Novant Health in Charlotte, NC, provided hundreds of veterans in need with Thanksgiving meals, and supported 100 kids who participated in the Derrick Brown Foundation Free Football Camp by donating over $30,000 in in-kind support gifts, food and equipment. Moore joined the Bears in 2023 and wasted no time in getting involved in the Chicago community. During his first Thanksgiving in Chicago, he and his family joined the Salvation Army in serving Thanksgiving meals to more than 300 migrants who had recently arrived in Chicago and visited with the Waukegan HS varsity football team to talk about teamwork and dedication. He and his wife attended the annual Bears Care Gala, an annual black-tie fundraiser for the team's foundation. After signing an extension with the Bears in 2024, Moore and the Moore 2 Life Foundation started dedicating even more time and resources to Chicago youth by distributing sneakers to 150 foster care children at One Family Illinois in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago and providing 250 toys to those in underserved areas of Chicago through the Moore 2 Life Holiday Bash. Moore also continues to be involved in numerous Bears community outreach programs, and traveled to Manchester and London, England, in support of our Mini Monsters youth football program. For the past 6 summers, Moore has hosted a free football camp in Philadelphia, impacting more than 1,200 kids, with a total community investment of over $100,000.

Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back

Moore leads by example, both on and off the field. The Moore 2 Life Foundation hosts several annual events, so Moore sets a steady cadence of philanthropy throughout the year, every year. His family always joins him at events, including his wife, Raven, and their three children, Ari, Bubba and Chi. They are hands-on, work alongside DJ, and visit with kids and families in attendance. It's important to him that his kids learn the importance of kindness and giving back, and it's already a big part of their young lives. Moore also models a lifestyle of giving back amongst his teammates. As one of our more veteran and popular players, we receive a lot of special requests for Moore, especially from kids and fans experiencing hardships. He always takes the time to record a video message or sign a jersey or football. We also host special guests at practice every Friday during the season, and each week Moore spends time visiting with them, taking photos and signing autographs. It's a powerful example to set for our younger players to see an elite veteran player taking time to give to other people week after week, even if he's coming off a tough game or practice, or a team loss. It shows them that even a few minutes of their time came make a huge difference in another person's life.
