Position College Years in the NFL
Linebacker Stanford Univeristy 4 Years

Excellence on the Field:

The 49ers signed Robinson as a free agent during the 2021 season after he spent 11 weeks with Denver. Over his four-year career, Robinson has solidified himself as a true team player, willing to step up whenever the team calls upon him. He has graciously stepped into a special teams and backup linebacker role while continually encouraging his teammates and staying ready for when his number is called. Since joining the league, Robinson has appeared in 24 games registering 12 tackles and 10 special team tackles. After a season ending injury, Robinson spent the remainder of the 2024 season and the 2025 offseason rehabbing while still showing up for his teammates and the community around him. In 2025, he is currently on the 53-man roster and plays a leadership role in both the Linebacker room and on Special Teams.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year:

Education has always been at the heart of Robinson's community work. Inspired by his mother's career as a college professor, he understands the importance of ensuring equal access to quality education, regardless of socioeconomic background. For the past two years, he has shown his appreciation for educators by hosting a Back-to-School Shopping event at Levi's, thanking local teachers for their dedication. A passionate advocate for the 49ers Foundation's mission to empower and educate youth, Robinson has been a consistent presence in their programs. He often joins the 49ers EDU classroom, encouraging Title I students as they explore STEAM concepts through football. He also participates in the Foundation's annual Golden Getaway, spending several days mentoring youth and engaging with supporters. Recognizing education as a key pillar of social justice, Robinson serves on the 49ers Social Justice Player Committee, helping direct over $1 million in team funding to community organizations and mentoring youth from those partners. Supporting the NFL's Inspire Change initiative, he also read to more than 150 elementary students and helped distribute over 1,000 books promoting diversity and inclusion through the team's Read for Justice program. Guided by his mother, an educator; and father, a golf coach, Robinson values mentorship deeply. He continues to work with Fresh Lifelines for Youth, mentoring teens impacted by the justice system, and has joined the team's annual visit to San Quentin State Rehabilitation Center to meet with justice-impacted individuals and their families. In 2025, Robinson used his Walter Payton Man of the Year $40,000 donation to help fund a new Mobilize Love truck that provides free haircuts in low-income communities. This December, he will host a holiday event for youth from Drive 4 Change, where participants will receive haircuts from the Mobilize Love truck. Inspired by his father Robinson volunteers with Drive 4 Change in Oakland, teaching golf and promoting life skills through sport. Robinson was named by his teammates as the 2025 Perry/Yonamine 49ers Unity Award recipient for his leadership and service. Always among the first to volunteer for a 49ers Community Tuesday, he continues to lead player volunteerism hours this season, staying true to his belief in helping others through education, mentorship and service.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past:

When asked to reflect on his lifetime of service, it's challenging for Robinson to recall how it began. Whether it was coaching youth football every summer in high school or volunteering at the same children's hospital as a student-athlete at Stanford that he volunteers at as an NFL player or emphasizing the importance of literacy during Read Across America, it is all second nature to him. He attributes it to his upbringing, "Watching my parents work hard so me and my sister could be afforded the resources we were, I've always wanted to pay it forward and bridge the gap for others." Since entering the league in 2021, Robinson has led efforts with his fellow linebackers to purchase holiday gifts for nearly 200 people. They concentrate their efforts on supporting families from one of San Francisco's toughest neighborhoods, building a personal relationship with nonprofit Mobilize Love to select the participants each year, with plans to continue this season. Throughout his career, Robinson has been a community pillar, signing up for weekly 49ers volunteerism events, no matter the cause, asking "What more can I do?" Robinson has supported cancer survivors and military members through the NFL's Crucial Catch and Salute to Service, raised awareness for animal rescues through visits at the Humane Society and participated in the annual Puppy Bowl as a player ambassador. Understanding the socioeconomic disparities leading to food insecurity and homelessness in the Bay Area, Robinson puts particular emphasis on supporting under-resourced families to ensure all have the support to succeed. He distributed food, clothing and resources to over fifty nonprofits throughout the holiday season and visits the local Boys & Girls Club often to empower the youth from the local Title I school. With "bridging the gap for others" serving as his personal mission statement, social justice is a platform that Robinson gravitates toward. He's helped distribute over 4,100 books highlighting DEI through the 49ers Read for Justice initiative, promoted minority owned small businesses while sharing the Bay Area's connections to the civil rights movement during a cultural tour for youth, mentored over 100 minority students representing several social justice grant partners and visited with justice-impacted individuals at San Quentin State Rehabilitation Center, shining a light on the human side of the justice system. While every cause area is a worthy one to Robinson, the constant thread is to pay it forward to those who need it most.

Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back:

Robinson is synonymous with giving back. Beyond his weekly volunteer efforts, he has been widely recognized for his leadership and character on and off the field. In high school, Robinson was a finalist for the Glenn Davis Award, which honors athletes who exemplify the U.S. Army's values of community service, education and athletic excellence. At Stanford, he received the Al Masters Award, presented to the athlete who attains the highest standards of athletic performance, leadership and academic achievement. For the past two years, Robinson has earned the 49ers Unity Award, chosen by teammates to honor the player most dedicated to promoting unity within the locker room and community. As part of this recognition, he directed $10,000 to City Year and $5,000 to Mobilize Love, organizations that provide equitable resources to students regardless of ethnicity or socioeconomic background. He also joined City Year's annual gala as a featured speaker, emphasizing the importance of giving back. Robinson remains a staple in the Bay Area community, consistently logging the top volunteer hours on the team and earning the 49ers 2023 Veteran Player Community Award. In 2024, he was named the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee. While the awards reflect his impact, Robinson's motivation is deeply personal, "My parents instilled in me to be involved, give back to the community. I witnessed the sacrifices they made to ensure I had access to resources I needed to pursue my dreams and as a kid. I thought that's what was normal. They set the standard for me to use my platform to pay it forward and bridge the gap for others."
