Excellence on the Field:

Chris Lindstrom has played every offensive snap this season. Lindstrom and the offensive line have paved the way for Atlanta Falcons ball carriers to rush for over 150 yards in five of the first six games for the second time in team history. Individually, the Atlanta Falcons 2019 first-round selection has received recognition for his on-field play this season. Pro Football Focus ranked Chris as the highest-rated Falcon and the third-highest offensive lineman in the NFL. In Week 4, PFF named him the Offensive Player of the Week, noting, "Lindstrom earned a staggering 97.1 overall grade in Week 4 and was the only offensive lineman in the league to grade above 90.0. Chris always gives all-out effort at all times.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts This Year:

Through his relationship with Best Buddies, Chris continues to demonstrate his commitment to community efforts in Atlanta and back in his home state of Massachusetts. During the offseason, Chris attended monthly meetups with Best Buddies. He offered continuous mentoring and fellowship with his buddy, Michael. In addition to monthly meetups, he continues to serve on the international board of Best Buddies. His connection with Best Buddies stems from his close relationship with his sister, Eda, who has autism and is a member of the Best Buddies community. Not only is Chris active in the Best Buddies community in Massachusetts, but he has also been a fundamental pillar in the Georgia chapter. He rallied his teammates to attend the Best Buddies Gala and raised money for the organization to sponsor new programing. He secured a ticket block through the Atlanta Falcons Rise Up & Share program which allows players to purchase tickets to each Atlanta Falcons home game to use for local, non-profit organizations. A staple in his ticket block group, Chris' Company, were his friends from Best Buddies. Chris has continued to lead the force in serving the Atlanta community. Through catered dinners with Ronald McDonald House Charities, surprising local teachers with shopping sprees and providing a donation to the Atlanta Mission for school uniforms for the kids in their shelters, Chris has addressed a myriad of needs through his service. Because education is so important to him, he also provided meals to the Flowery Branch High School Football Team to congratulate them on their hard work in the classroom. Chris similarly dove headfirst into team community events. As a leader on the offensive, he led the charge in raising money for Falcons Feast – the Atlanta Falcons annual Thanksgiving event where 1,500 families are given a meal for the holiday. Dazzle & Dine is another team event that celebrates breast cancer fighters. After losing his mother to ovarian cancer, Chris immersed himself in the cancer community to bring further awareness to the disease. He dedicated time to celebrating the 10 honorees through hibachi prepared by himself and a master chef. Even across the country in Seattle, the Atlanta Falcons visited a local military base and Chris was front of the line to visit with our service men and women.

Dedication & Commitment to Community Efforts in Years Past:

Since Chris Lindstrom joined the Atlanta Falcons in 2019, he's been a staple in the community. Through visits to the Boys and Girls Club for dodgeball tournaments, to participating in food packing events with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Lindstrom demonstrated his desire to make a difference early on in his career. Another event that Lindstrom has taken a leadership role in is our annual Falcons Feast where the offensive line and defensive line come together to personally fund turkeys to donate to over 1,500 families on the Westside of Atlanta, an underprivileged part of the city, for the Thanksgiving holiday. From Lindstrom's first year participating in Falcons Feast, he served as an instrumental voice with the offensive line to participate. While 2020 and 2021 were years where a lot of normalcies changed, Lindstrom was determined to brighten up the lives of everyone he could. Through calls with Georgia Power and with community heroes, Lindstrom continued to provide support and inspiration through the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Positive Character & a Lifestyle of Giving Back:

In years past, Chris has participated in My Cause My Cleats sporting cleats to represent Best Buddies and Special Olympics, but this year, he decided to bring awareness to a different cause – distracted driving. Chris will be wearing "Friends of John Paire: Be Better" on his cleats this year in honor of his grade schoolteacher who passed away from a districted driver. Chris' positive character drove him to bring awareness to this cause because not only did he lose a role model, but his hometown lost a friend. By wearing the "Be Better" fund on his cleats, Chris is reminding drivers to drive alert and attentive to ensure that this tragedy doesn't strike again. Being better is a motto that Chris epitomizes on and off the field. He also serves as a 2022 Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador. Through this, Chris connected with youth in the Atlanta area by educating them on being active for 60 minutes a day, while also sharing the health benefits of adding dairy products to their diets. Chris' heart is one that beats for many! If you ask him how he wants to help, his response is simply, "however you need me to – you just say the word," and he truly lives by that phrase. He is a leader on the field, a leader in the community and the Atlanta Falcons 2022 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee.
