Barbara Estrada

Mexico

Barbara's love for football began in the 1970s, when she cheered on friends at her school's games and bonded with her father over College Bowl games every New Year. When cable TV arrived, she discovered the Raiders and was immediately drawn to their grit, attitude, and rebellious spirit. As one of the few female football fans at the time, embracing the Silver & Black felt both empowering and defining. Over the years, she has attended Raiders games in Oakland, Las Vegas and Mexico City, and even had a photo of her and her sister featured on national TV during the Raiders–Patriots game at Estadio Azteca. Today, Barbara is an active member of Raider Nation MX and a passionate advocate for growing the NFL community in Mexico. She creates shortform videos highlighting key moments, players, and stories that help make the sport more accessible to new fans. For Barbara, being a Raiders fan is more than fandom—it's identity, resilience and connection. To her, Silver & Black isn't just a uniform; it's part of who she is.
