Ericka Manrique was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Her love for the Atlanta Falcons began in 2008, when she spent time studying in Atlanta. Since then, they have been the only sports team she supports with all her heart. For Ericka, being a fan of this team in Mexico has been a bit challenging, as in her hometown, she doesn't know anyone else who supports the Atlanta Falcons. However, that has never worried her—she watches every game with enthusiasm, even though most of the time she does so on her own.
Ericka feels a deep connection to the Atlanta Falcons because the team's spirit reflects her own. "Rise Up" is more than a slogan to her, it's a mindset she lives by every day, rooted in optimism, resilience, and belief. She has embraced that same energy in her own life and channels it into building community through her passion for the team. She has dedicated her Instagram account to be used as a platform to educate other Spanish speakers about the Atlanta Falcons, spreading her enthusiasm and fandom for the team.
The day she arrived in the city of Atlanta, the Falcons chose her; but when she left the city, she chose the team to carry with her for life. Distance has never been an obstacle to living and feeling the team's most important moments, nor has it prevented her from being a loyal fan.
For Ericka, being selected as an International Fan of the Atlanta Falcons is a dream come true; however, her greatest satisfaction is knowing that the Falcons now know they have her unwavering support from Monterrey, Mexico… and for her, that is the greatest reward of all.
