Brazil

My name is Andressa, I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. I started following the NFL in 2008 and fell in love with the Philadelphia Eagles fans. In victory or defeat, the fans were always present, supporting the team and the players, and it was this incredible atmosphere that made me a fan of the Eagles.

This passion for the Eagles made me seek more contact with Football and Flag Football, and then I started playing Flag. Initially just as a hobby, but since 2012 I have dedicated myself 100% to Flag Football. In all the teams I played for, I always made a point of helping in whatever was necessary: organizing championships, carrying materials, raising money for national tournaments, etc.

In 2014 I had the opportunity to watch an Eagles game in Philadelphia. Being present and being part of everything I always watched on TV was magical! This gave me even more desire to make things happen in Brazil.

In 2015, I took the refereeing course and also started working as a referee to develop the sport, no longer as a player, but as a referee.

I help organize events, championships, accessible rules courses, and anything else our community needs. I am always available to anyone who needs help turning an idea into reality. My goal in sports has always been and continues to be to offer support so that more people have access to Flag Football and Football, doing everything to make the dreams of the people in this community possible.

In 2024, when the first NFL game took place in Brazil and it was announced that it would be a Philadelphia Eagles game, I was speechless. I had never imagined that I could see the Eagles play in my country, in my city! It was certainly one of the best days of my life!
