Marco Antonio Tepopotla Aguilar

Mexico

Mark Aguilar's love for the Dallas Cowboys began at just nine years old, sparked by the simple sight of the team's iconic logo on his teacher's keychain. What started as childhood curiosity during the 1985 season grew into a lifelong passion rooted in the team's history and identity. Over the years, Mark embraced the legends who shaped the franchise — from Roger Staubach and Tony Dorsett to Emmitt Smith and the iconic 1992 Super Bowl run.

Mark represents the Cowboys daily, carrying the blue star with him everywhere — on his watch, keychain, wallet, bracelet, and with the Cowboys license plates and logos on his car. On gamedays, Mark pairs one of the jerseys in his collection with his favorite cap.

He connects with Cowboys Nation through a weekly podcast he hosts called Abrazo Vaquero. Topics range from post-game recaps, upcoming game previews, conversations about various team related topics, guest interviews, and interactions with listeners.

Mark is passionate about growing the Cowboys fanbase in Mexico. During the season, he organizes weekly watch parties at local restaurants, with an open invitation for all fans in the area to join. He makes it a priority to introduce himself to new attendees and welcome them into the Cowboys community, with the goal of turning every game into a "shared experience" by explaining rules, Cowboys history, personal game day rituals and fan culture. The fan camaraderie of Cowboys Nation is very important to Mark, sharing "Celebrating victories with other fans reinforces my sense of belonging to a family. Even though we're far from the team, the passion unites us as if we were all in the same place."
