My journey with American football began with a loss and a legacy. I lost my father when I was very young, but I was raised under the care and guidance of both my grandfather and my uncle Alfredo, from my mother's side. My uncle passed this love down to me. I vividly remember gathering with his friends—former players—to watch the Super Bowl, especially the 1995 game where the Chargers faced the 49ers. I didn't know it then, but that day my destiny was sealed: I would be a Chargers fan forever.
My uncle always dreamed of taking me to an official NFL game in the United States, but he passed away before we could make it happen. In 2011, alongside my wife, I fulfilled that pending promise in San Diego. Seeing the Chargers crush the Bills on December 11th wasn't just a victory on the field; it was the birth of a family passion that has led us to travel every year, sharing the experience with friends and spreading the team spirit.
In 2018, I turned my home into the Chargers' Mexico City headquarters for the season—between ""carnes asadas"" and pure euphoria, celebrating unforgettable moments like Mike Williams' legendary two-point conversion against Kansas City that sealed the win.
Today, the fanbase in Mexico City has grown to fill entire restaurants. Among my most cherished memories are: the 2019 game at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, a trip to Miami with a Chargers victory in 2019, and my first official game at SoFi Stadium against Dallas in 2021. Over the last three seasons, I've been able to attend two games per year. This past season was an unparalleled experience, watching my team win the season opener in Brazil and then defeating the Cowboys in Dallas in December 2025.
I feel incredibly fortunate and supported by my family in this passion for the Los Angeles Chargers. Always proud of my team, forever a Chargers fan; I am part of a community that proves the Chargers have no borders. Bolt Up Forever!
