Chicago Bears

Otten 01 - this is my favorite one

Jonathan Otten

Jonathan is a Navy veteran who served on the USS Michigan. During this time, he never let his fandom fade, as he would carve the logo into his hearing protection and always wear his Bears hat on gamedays. He is now a father of three boys and a Radiation Safety Officer for the Department of Veteran Affairs, while being heavily involved in his town's local Cub Scout Pack. With his den, Jonathan has volunteered to place United States flags on gravestones of fallen service members and has been involved in multiple food drives. Jonathan is the 2025 Chicago Bears Fan of the Year because outside of being a loyal Bears fan, he embodies the spirit of Chicago – showing up with heart, giving back with purpose, and proving that true dedication extends far beyond the stadium.

Jonathan Otten was named the 2025 Chicago Bears Fan of the Year through a surprise video call with Bears TE Colston Loveland. What Jonathan thought was a routine interview for all nominees turned out to be the surprise of a lifetime. After being told another member of the "committee" had some questions, Loveland appeared on screen and shared the news with Jonathan. The team also invited Jonthan to watch the Bears take on the NY Giants on November 9 at Soldier Field.
