Donna Bettencourt

The epitome of being a member of The Faithful is to be devoted while carrying an unwavering amount of love for the San Francisco 49ers. Constantly displaying that love as a lifelong fan and representing the San Francisco 49ers this season as 2025 Fan of the Year is Donna Bettencourt.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Donna spent her entire life attending 49ers games at Kezar, Candlestick, and now at Levi's Stadium. Her parents saved every dollar to be able to afford her season tickets for her birthday – and on her 13th birthday, she spent it at Kezar where her mother brought two birthday cakes – one of which, she shared with 49ers linebacker Matt Hazeltine in 1962.

These days she attends games with her sister and is known as the Mayor of Section 408. Donna is widely known within the 400 levels of Levi's Stadium for her high energy while hyping up the crowd. For every touchdown scored, she runs up and down the stairs in celebration.

Since the opening of Levi's in 2014, she's organized a tailgate for every home game where she welcomes and hosts 49ers fans, and even fans of opposing teams. She's made her way to every road stadium the 49ers have played at over the years; ultimately embedding herself within the history of the 49ers as a superfan.

Wherever the 49ers go, Donna goes. Throughout the seasons, Donna is there.
