Anthony Brooks

Anthony Brooks is widely known as Tony Da Tiger in The Jungle.

In 2014 a young Bengals fan was attending the game with her dad, Anthony Brooks. As she was painting her face she asked. Dad, "Why not paint your face too?". This is when Tony Da Tiger was born.

Tony Da Tiger is how he chooses to represent his support and love for the Bengals. He believes that his character represents his fandom from the inside out. Tony Da Tiger is a fan first. Not only does he support the Cincinnati Bengals, but he supports the Cincinnati community along with other Bengals fans.

His first game was back in 1988 and it was love at first sight. He can now be found in section 158 next to the Bengals tunnel believing that his purpose is to bring energy and joy to his section. He has a streak of attending over 40 regular season games, traveled over 60,000 miles and been to over 26 different stadiums all to carry on his purpose outside of section 158. The off-chance Tony Da Tiger is not in his seat, you can find him interacting with other Bengals fans in the Cincinnati community, inspiring them to represent their inner tiger.

Tony Da Tiger embodies his fandom as it is a way to encourage future fans to support what they love. During the 2022 season he started "Tony's Tickets For Kids" which sends kids to their first ever NFL game! The first recipients were met outside The Jungle with a custom-made chain with their name and favorite players number, a stuffed tiger, players trading card and stickers. His main goal was to create the next set of super fans realizing that fandom is not just what occurs on the field but the place it fills in your heart.

Most importantly he loves what it means to be a fan. The way he shows this is by representing his fandom as Tony Da Tiger from the inside out so future fans can express their fandom too.
