Demonstrating the transformative power of relationships, Friends of the Children is a national nonprofit network that is impacting generational change in more than 45 diverse locations across the country. FOC's proven model pairs youth facing significant obstacles with paid, professional mentors (called "Friends"), who provide consistent, long-term support from early childhood through high school graduation, with demonstrated improvements to long-term well-being, academic success, and employment.
