Inspire Change

There is tremendous room for improvement in our communities. Whether it is a need for local resources or help fostering positive dialogue and relationships, our communities need immediate action to open access to opportunities to all. The NFL is using its unmatched platform to "Inspire Change."

Social justice means different things to everyone. The entire NFL family is committed to conversations and actions that move us towards a more equal and just tomorrow. In January 2019 the NFL launched Inspire Change, a platform to showcase the collaborative efforts of players, owners and the League to create positive change in communities across the country and ensure that equal opportunity becomes a reality for all. Working together with the Players Coalition, NFL teams and the League Office continue to support programs and initiatives that reduce barriers to opportunity, with a focus on three priority areas:

• Education and economic advancement
• Police and community relations
• Criminal justice reform

Inspire Change dedicates financial resources from the League, clubs and players to nonprofit organizations; amplifies inspiring stories of players making differences in their communities and society; and deploys public policy and government affairs resources at the local, state, and national levels.

In addition to the ongoing social justice work being carried out across the country by the Players Coalition – an organization co-founded by NFL Legend Anquan Boldin and Philadelphia Eagles Safety Malcolm Jenkins committed to making an impact on social justice and racial equality – NFL clubs and players have been supporting social justice efforts in many ways. Hundreds of social justice events and initiatives have been organized and implemented by each of the 32 NFL clubs in the last year.
